Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD oil?

CBD, also known as cannabinoids is a non-psychotropic substance naturally found in the cannabis plant. Cannabis is a genus name under which marijuana and hemp are found but are different species of plant entirely. The good news is, our CBD oil is an extract of the cannabis plant called hemp.

The level of THC in the cannabis plant (responsible for getting people high) is quite little in hemp plant at 0.3%. This amount of THC cannot alter the state of mind of its consumer.

CBD oil, sometimes refered to as Hemp oil is an extract of cannabis plant found beneficial to the human health over time. It is known for its potential medical, and therapeutic benefits.

Is CBD legal?

The legality of CBD depends on some determinant factors in individual states. It still seems unclear to the masses whether CBD is legal or not due to different laws ruling different countries whether at state or federal level. The law appears murky with different interpretations.

But the fact remains that CBD produced from industrial hemp is legal in 50 states, and there is no restriction on the extraction, sales, and consumption of CBD oil. And with the conditions and regulations of the 2018 farm bill, it is evident that hemp is legal.

According to the unanimous ruling by the 9th circuit court of appeal in 2004 in a lawsuit by a hemp trade association, it was determined that DEA has no power to regulate drugs that are not scheduled because non-psycho active hemp is not included in schedule 1.

CBD is derived from either hemp or marijuana which are both members of the cannabis family, but the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) dominant in marijuana is up to 30% compared to what hemp produces at 0.3%.

Our products are extracts of industrial hemp rich in non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid. Therefore, our CBD oil is produced from hemp with a very low amount of THC entirely incapable of affecting the mental health of the consumer, hence its legality.

What is the difference between THC and CBD?

The two well-known chemical compounds found in cannabis plant over decades are THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). THC and CBD interact with the human body differently. THC contain psychoactive properties that cause "high" or alter the human state of mind because THC binds and stimulate CB1 receptor and CB2 receptors directly.

Compared to THC, CBD interacts with the CB1 receptor and CB2 receptors indirectly by stimulating and increasing the level of naturally produced cannabinoid in the body. CBD does not have the same cognitive effect like THC.

CBD is an appealing treatment often used for medicinal purposes and counteract the psychoactivity of THC. i.e., It reduces the intoxicating effect of THC. A reliable way to consume CBD without any influence of THC is through our CBD oil.

Is there THC in your product?

Our products are sourced from industrial hemp. These products contain a standard guarantee level of CBD with a low amount of THC not more than 0.3%. It is this level of THC that enhanced CBD legalization and makes it acceptable in some states where CBD is in use.

Is THC necessary for CBD to work?

THC works well with CBD, but CBD works great by itself with the combination of another cannabinoid which is referred to as “entourage effects” by the scientist. CBD oil does not need THC to be active because it contains other mineral and vitamin, protein, chlorophyll, fiber, and terpene.

What is the endocannabinoid system?

Some people consume an extract of cannabis for symptoms relief or therapeutic effects. But none of these would have been effective in the human body if there is no biological system (endocannabinoid system) that interacts with the chemical compound contained in cannabis such as CBD or THC.

The Endocannabinoid system is a potent regulator that influences signals in the brain and peripheral tissues. It plays a good role in the immune system, brain, metabolism, energy homeostasis, sleep, neurogenesis, emotional state and the likes.

There are 3 components of endocannabinoid system which includes, cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) located in different types of cells in the body, Endocannabinoid that activates cannabinoid receptors and metabolic enzymes that breaks down endocannabinoid after use.

The first major cannabinoid receptors which are CB1 (mostly found in the brain) and CB2 receptor dominant outside the nervous system. i.e., the immune system.

What are the differences between hemp and marijuana?

Scientifically, hemp and marijuana come from the same plant species called Cannabis Sativa. The main difference between them is the level of THC they produce.

Marijuana produces a high level of a psychoactive compound called THC (D9-tetrahydrocannabinol) that causes “high” or affect the mental parameter of man while hemp contains non-psychoactive properties and produces a low level of THC not more than 0.3%.

Extracts of industrial hemp plants such as CBD oil is one of the most widely accepted product in term of global spread. CBD oil production and consumption has received more attention in recent time and legalized in some states while marijuana generally remains illegal.

Will I fail a drug test?

Well, different laboratories have ways of carrying out their test, but generally, D9-tetrahydrocannabinol is what most lab scientists look out for in the bloodstream or other specimens.

Our products contain nothing more than 0.3% THC, and according to research, the possibility of testing positive is high using hemp oil or food. We can’t make any recommendations at this moment. Therefore, we suggest that before consuming any CBD products, contact your healthcare provider or preferable do not ingest yourself with the product if you are about to be subjected to any form of a drug test.

How does it work?

The human body produces cannabinoid naturally with the help of two receptors called CB1 receptors found in the brain and CB2 receptors located in the immune system.

The use of CBD is not meant to affect the body system directly but instead work with the human endocannabinoid system, the system that CBD interacts with and help influence the body to use its cannabinoid. CBD also have the potential to counteract the psychoactive properties of THC.

What is hemp extract?

Hemp extract is the oil sourced from industrial hemp plant especially from its seed and stalk. Hemp extract contain a low level of THC at 0.3% which is non-psychoactive. It has a lot of benefits widely known to man such as improvement of immune function, cardiovascular health issues and a lot more.

Will CBD make me feel “high”?

CBD cannot make you feel high. It contains non-psychoactive properties that cannot interrupt your mind and mental state. The cannabis plant contains another cannabinoid called THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Though THC causes a "high," the level of THC in CBD is low and not strong enough to cause a “high.”
